Job Description
Vision System Development
Design and implement machine vision solutions for wafer/die level inspection and metrology
Develop image processing algorithms (defect detection, pattern recognition, edge detection, etc.)
Work with cameras, optics, and lighting systems to capture high-quality images
Algorithm & Software Engineering
Write and optimize code (commonly in C++, Python, or MATLAB)
Develop and test vision algorithms for speed and accuracy
Integrate vision modules into larger semiconductor equipment systems
R&D & Innovation
Research new imaging techniques (e.g., AI-based vision, 3D imaging)
Prototype and validate new concepts for next‑generation equipment
Improve resolution, throughput, and detection sensitivity
System Integration
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers
Integrate vision systems into tools like wafer inspection systems or AOI related machines
Troubleshoot system‑level issues
