Salary: £91,000 - 130,000 per year
Requirements
- Strong experience building voice AI or real-time speech systems
- Hands‑on experience with speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech APIs
- Proven ability to deliver production‑grade AI systems
- Good understanding of latency and performance optimisation
- Experience with RAG and data‑driven AI architectures
- Strong API integration skills and a practical engineering mindset
- Comfortable working with sensitive data in production contexts
Responsibilities
- Productionise a voice AI system from an existing proof of concept
- Work with voice platforms such as ElevenLabs, Deepgram, or similar tools
- Improve real‑time performance and reduce latency
- Design lightweight orchestration using simple, deterministic flows over complex prompt chains
- Integrate customer and internal data using RAG approaches
