Job Description
Tachi is a fast-paced omakase counter and sake bar in Hell’s Kitchen. Guests order using a simple checklist and hand it to the chef. This role is not traditional table service. You are running the room, managing the flow, and guiding the guest experience.
We just opened and are already seeing busy services.
- Greet guests and manage the door and waitlist
- Explain how ordering works and answer questions
- Guide guests on selections and upsell when appropriate, especially beverages
- Control seating, pacing, and turnover
- Keep tickets organized and the counter clean
- Reset seats quickly and keep the space tight
- Part host, part server, part floor lead
- You are the point person for the room
- Strong presence, comfortable talking to anyone walking in
- High awareness, you notice things before they become problems
