Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Service Engineers & Technician and supervise the overhauling & commissioning of Engine & other aux equipmentWork in Anchorage, Off-port limits, shipyard, onboard vessel on voyage repairWork with contractors for jobs that have to be outsourcedPrepare service and calibration reports of the work activitiesAble to advise and recommend to the Technical Superintendent and Chief Engineer on faults/defects and operation of the machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's specificationProvide technical support and deliver high-quality service standards to the satisfaction of customersCarry out a risk assessment for each service and observe safe work practices and regulations onboard vessels & in the workshop Conduct daily toolbox meetingResponsible for continual improvement in the Service Department
