Job Description
The Elevator/Escalator Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on elevator and escalator systems in accordance with company standards. This includes mechanical adjustments, fault diagnosis, and use of test equipment while ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive maintenance measurements and mechanical adjustments on elevator/escalator components such as car and landing doors brake linings etc.
- Efficiently execute maintenance troubleshooting and repair tasks as per company standards.
- Use hand tools measurement devices ammeters voltmeters and elevator diagnostic tools; experience in testing and commissioning preferred.
- Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams; locate malfunctioning components like brakes motors switches and control systems using test equipment.
