Settlement Specialist (12‑month contract) (80–100%)
The Settlement Specialist is responsible for ensuring the successful and timely settlement of transactions. They monitor and reconcile failing trades. A strong understanding of trading operations and excellent communication skills are essential for effective operational management.
Your Role
- Daily monitoring of pending transactions through to final settlement.
- Analysis and management of complex transactions and exceptional situations.
- Identification of recurring changes in settlement instructions; request corrections/creation of networks (SSI) to maximize automation.
- Propose solutions to increase operational efficiency and optimize processes.
- Coordinate and verify incoming/outgoing payments for exceptions (e.g., netting).
