Research Topics
- Multimodal foundation models – develop next‑generation multimodal foundation models that can reason across text, images, video, 3D molecular design and robotic environments, with focus on grounding, adaptability, efficiency, and alignment with human goals.
- Out‑of‑Distribution Deployable Machine Learning – create machine learning methods that remain reliable when deployed outside training conditions, addressing distribution shift, hidden confounders, and incorrect assumptions, with opportunities in generalization, domain adaptation, active learning, and decision support.
