Summary The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Superintendent, Senate Office Buildings is seeking a journey level Sheet Metal Mechanic for the Assistant Superintendent Tenant Services Division, Sheet Metal Section to form, join and assemble and install sheet metal components of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, copper roofs and kitchen appliances. Responsibilities Tour of duty for this position is: Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Work schedule may require some occasionally mandatory overtime on holidays AND weekends. The individual selected for this position will: Sheet metal mechanics at this level plan, lay out and develop templates to construct, assemble, and install irregular items and systems. Systems used by sheet metal mechanics at this level have various combinations of features including: cornices, canopies, transition elbows and oblique, truncated or frustum cones.
