The Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician Lead is responsible for following instructions given by the Production Manager to execute all sheet metal builds successfully. The goal is to efficiently design and manufacture components and systems that are safe, innovative, and of high quality .
Job Responsibilities:
+ Manage daily manufacturing and assembly operations, allocating team members to balance workloads and meet tight production schedules.
+ Interpret engineering prints, schematics, and work orders to ensure the physical structure meets exact specifications and quality standards.
+ Provide on-the-job training and mentorship while strictly enforcing facility safety guidelines.
+ Help lead root-cause analyses for any structural defects.
