IN GENERAL Role: Ship Operations and Business Development Expected Position Level: Assistant Manager or Manager REQUIREMENTS ■ Essential (for performing duties) (A) Experience and skills in either of the following fields: (1) Shipping Industry (minimum 3-5 years) Time Charter Parties / Voyage Charter Parties / Bills of Lading Memorandums of Agreement (Sale and Purchase of Vessels) SHIPMAN / Agency Agreements (2) Commodity Trading (minimum 5 years) Freight trading / chartering of vessels for dry or liquid cargoes (3) Investment or Finance Industry (minimum5 years) Banking / Financial Services Real Estate Other large-scale investment projects (B) Language Skills English (Native or Business Level, both written and spoken) (C) Other Qualities Strong leadership Good communication skills Teamwork mindset Perseverance ■ Preferable Experience in a ship-owning company Accounting knowledge (basic double-entry bookkeeping) Finance knowledge (basic loan agreements / derivatives / others) Japanese ...
