We are currently looking for a Shipper (Readymix) to join our friendly Tarmac Birtley Regional office in Birtley, Chester‑Le‑Street, Co Durham. The role is commutable from Gateshead, Newcastle‑upon‑Tyne, Consett, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Darlington, South Shields, Wallsend, Longbenton and the surrounding areas.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of the team by providing the best offer for our customers, enhancing their experience and promoting Tarmac as the supplier of choice.
- Effectively plan and schedule the programme of works ensuring timely delivery of orders against agreed time frames with customers whilst optimising cost through effective truck utilisation.
