Responsible for supervising employees and activities required for the safe and efficient movement of materials and finished product from original receipt to outgoing shipment in compliance with company, customer and government requirements.
Plan the day to day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets as agreed with Production Management Manage activities and relationships with cold storage facilities and freight forward warehouses including inventory accuracy, releases, inbounds/outbounds and claim resolution. Responsible for all activities relating to the movement and storage of all trailers in yard as well as spotting duties.
