Shipping Assistant
Location: East Grinstead
Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8.15am to 5pm, Friday 8.15am to 3pm
Duration - 6 Months Temporary Opportunity (with the possibility of extension)
My client is seeking a Shipping assistant to help with their AST portfolio across their clients East Grinstead site.
Key Responsibilities
- GTC Screening of all customers.
- Invoicing and booking collections with the couriers & forwarders.
- POD check for all Export shipments.
- Generating shipping documentation, working with the chamber of commerce (EUR1, COO, Legalised export documents).
- Maintaining records and filing of all documentation.
- Communicating with customers regarding lead-time, dates & prices etc.
