Shipping Coordinator
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Ships completed units and parts to customers, service centers and interplant locations using various carriers in a timely and efficient manner from a third party logistics warehouse (3PL). Works under minimal supervision and participates in small‑group activities, process improvement initiatives and project work.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
1. Verifies part number and/or serial numbers on the carton against Delivery Note. Notify 3PL Warehouse team if there is any discrepancy.Packages/inspect material appropriately for shipment.
2. Generate Delivery Note, Commercial Invoice and other shipping related documents. Perform Post Good Issue (PGI) once cargo is collected.
3. Understand shipping instruction given for each order request in system before shipment arrangement.
4. Coordinates pick up and tracks shipments of various freight carriers.
5. Files paperwork supporting shipping procedures.
