Shotblaster – Paint Technician
Location: Rugeley | Salary: £12.71 per hour | Shift: Days
A great opportunity to join a well established fabrication business within the finishing department. This role involves preparing metal components for painting, carrying out shotblasting, applying paint finishes, and ensuring all products meet requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate shotblasting equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare metal components and fabricated assemblies for painting
- Monitor drying and curing processes and carry out touch-up work where required
- Conduct visual inspections
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning
Experience / Qualifications
- Previous experience in shotblasting, industrial painting, powder coating, or surface preparation
