Job Description

I’m working on a highly unique engineering hire for one of the world’s most elite technology-driven trading firms.


Singapore

⏱️ High-priority hire


This is not a traditional “SRE” role.


The ideal person is likely a strong C++ / systems engineer who enjoys the wider challenge of making complex technology easier to deploy, manage, scale, observe, and operate across a global business.


The core development team builds high-performance trading technology — this team builds the services, tooling, automation, and infrastructure that make that technology production-ready, resilient, and usable across teams.


You’ll be working close to elite C++ developers, infrastructure engineers, and production teams on problems where performance, reliability, and ownership genuinely matter.


What they’re looking for:

  • Strong C++ background — you must be able to pass a core C++ coding interview
  • Systems programming experience across C++, Go, or Rust
  • Strong Linux fundamentals
  • Experience across SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure, or production systems
  • Strong networking knowledge
  • Ability to build tooling around deployment, orchestration, monitoring, diagnostics, and automation
  • Deep ownership mindset — this is high-impact, high-accountability engineering
