Site Engineer – Surfacing Team (Wellington)Higgins Wellington is looking for a motivated and hands on Site Engineer to join our Surfacing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their engineering career who wants to build capability across a wide range of surfacing and civil construction projects.If you enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for pavement construction and surfacing operations, and want to grow within a supportive and experienced team, this role offers a strong pathway for development.What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of daily surfacing activities (chipseal, asphalt, prep works)
  • Assisting with preparing quotes, estimates and basic pricing tasks for surfacing projects
  • Helping organise plant, labour, subcontractors and suppliers for surfacing operations
  • Creating and drafting job work packs for approval, including JSEAs, Method Statements and ITPs
