Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- +5 years of construction and management experience in HV substations and transmission lines
- Commissioned at least 3 HV substations connected to HV transmission lines
- Supervised the construction and commissioning of at least 2 HV substations
- Qualification to be required on either, Pr CPM or Pr Eng (will be an advantage)
- Project/Construction management certificate
- N3 Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Certificate (will be an advantage)
- Registered with a professional occupational council
- Solid background in commissioning and back energizing protocols
- Experience in South Africa and knowledgeable with local grid codes
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
