Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day operations on roadworks sites, ensuring smooth project delivery. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, plant operators, and site workers. Monitor work progress and ensure alignment with project plans, specifications, and timelines. Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at all times. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. Liaise with clients, local authorities, engineers, and utility companies as needed. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts. Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and material deliveries. Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and quality documentation. Assist in the preparation and review of construction program and schedules.
