Site Operations Manager (East Rand)

Qualification

• Matric / Senior Certificate
• Mining or Civil Engineering qualification (advantageous)

Requirements

• Site Operations Manager experienced in the mining environment with open-cast mining and rehabilitation and earthmoving operations.
• Experience in load-haul, screening and reclamation sites 2.6.1 Legal Appointee.
• Valid driver's license and relevant certifications (e.g. Safety, First Aid, Legal Liability etc.)
• Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Mining Safety Regulations.
• Proficient in site reporting and project management tools.

Duties
Manage and coordinate all on-site mining, rehabilitation and earthmoving activities.
Lead, supervise, and support site personnel and employees (sub-contractors).
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, progress reports, planning shifts, etc.
