The purpose of your role as a Site Safety Supervisor
The Site Safety Supervisor will assist in the supervision and administration of Harris’ health & safety and program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. They will contribute to the desired safety and work culture of the organization.
Safety:
Proactively assist in identifying and mitigating hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities by collaborating with project management and supervisory teamsSupport the supervision and coordination of an incident response as it pertains to safety, first aid, and rescue operations; assume full responsibility for site safety during assigned shift workContribute to the development, delivery and oversight of new hire employee orientations, task-specific training, and ongoing supervisor safety programs, while supporting project manager safety training initiativesPerform detailed work area inspections, inclu...
