Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct land, boundary, topographic, and engineering surveys using advanced surveying instruments and technology (e.g., Total Station, GPS, LiDAR, drones).
- Verify legal boundaries and prepare cadastral surveys in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Produce survey plans, maps, and reports for use in design, construction, and legal documentation.
- Certify survey documents and lodge plans with relevant government authorities.
- Interpret engineering and architectural drawings to provide accurate site setting-out and alignments.
- Monitor construction progress through as-built surveys and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Supervise and mentor survey assistants, technicians, and junior surveyors.
- Manage survey records, databases, and digital mapping systems (GIS, CAD).
- Provide expert advice to clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and government authorities.
