Job Description

Our client, an Australia based gold development company who hosts a portfolio of assets in the Goldfields region is seeking an Underground Geologist for a short term contract.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications;
  • Knowledge of mapping, structural geology, drilling and sampling techniques;
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Competent using software such as Leapfrog
  • Valid C Class license.

    • Position Duties:

  • Develop, implement and monitor various underground geology procedures - face mapping and sampling, wall mapping, logging;

  • Execute digital face/wall mapping program;

  • Provide ore drive directions to optimise orebody position for stoping;

  • Ensure the provision of quality logging, sampling and QAQC practices from resource definition and grade control;
