Veterinary Surgeon – Cardiff
My client is an RCVS-accredited small animal practice with three branches in and around Cardiff. They are passionate about delivering excellent care to patients and clients, and they believe that looking after each other is essential to achieving this.
They are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to work in a friendly team on a 12-month maternity cover. The role involves working across the main hospital and branch clinics on a shared rota, providing a mix of consultations, surgical procedures, and inpatient care. Overnight, they retain inpatients at the hospital under nursing care to minimise stress and travel for unwell patients, while out-of-hours calls are managed by a local provider.
This is a full-time position, based on a four-day week with a one-in-five Saturday rota, totaling 40 hours per week. There is no requirement for out-of-hours or Bank Holiday work. During your week, you will have a balanced schedule including consult...
