Job Description
- Set up, operate and maintain Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly equipment to produce high-quality printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies
- Perform solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering and other SMT processes
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Maintain detailed production records and documentation
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise production processes and improve efficiency
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an SMT Technician or in a similar role within the electronics manufacturing industry
