Overseas Collegiate Faculty – Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics
University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is recruiting experienced faculty to teach graduate‑level courses at U.S. military installations in Europe and Asia. The initial posting is for the Lakenheath, United Kingdom location. Faculty will be assigned to an overseas region (Europe, Asia, or Downrange) and may be required to relocate within the region during the appointment.
Responsibilities
- Teach a minimum of two class sections per session in UMGC’s 8‑week, 5‑session academic calendar.
- Deliver instruction in any modality: face‑to‑face, hybrid, online, or live‑streaming.
- Actively engage students, motivate learning, and facilitate collaboration.
- Provide rich, regular constructive feedback, utilize rubrics for assessment, and acknowledge student accomplishments.
