Job Description
We are looking for a Software Developer in Test (Data Platform) to join our TecsysIQ Data & AI team. This role is focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and integrity of our cloud‑based data platform built on AWS and Databricks.
Unlike traditional QA roles, this position is centered on data pipelines, transformations, and business rule validation across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
A key expectation of this role is to embed automated testing as part of the development lifecycle . For every feature or transformation developed, you will help define and build the automated tests upfront—ensuring they can be reused continuously during development and later as part of regression testing.
The goal is to establish a test‑first, automation‑driven culture , where automated validation provides fast feedback on data quality and stability, while manual testing complements this with edge‑case validation and exploratory testing. ...
