Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer I to support a federal client in Suffolk, VA. This team builds and integrates non‑kinetic effects into a simulation environment—things like cyber, EMS, information operations, and other effects that aren’t missiles or physical weapons. Their core focus is translating those effects into realistic, interoperable behaviors that interact with people, vehicles, aircraft, and systems across large‑scale joint simulations. They ensure everything works together in real time across distributed environments using common modeling and simulation standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components supporting the JNKE-PSF Effects Server and associated simulation infrastructure.
• Implement algorithms and data processing pipelines that translate complex Non-Kinetic Effects (NKE) and Mission Essential Task List (MSEL) injects into generalized, interoperable simulation outcome...
