Capital One is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our London office.
What you’ll do
- Be a differential people leader. Coach and nurture engineers to make a positive difference to their careers and the business.
- Bring technical leadership to the team. Stay close to the work, set a high bar for engineering, understand technical risks and influence architecture.
- Bring context and purpose to the team. Ensure everyone understands the why behind the work and intentionally shape culture.
- Own ways of working and deliveries, partnering with the Product Owner and Change Delivery Lead to shape road‑maps and lead frequent, high‑quality software delivery in a complex regulatory environment.
