Software Quality Assurance Senior Specialist – Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL)
Job Duties:
- Test ETL processes across Informatica and Snowflake.
- Validate data between source systems, staging, and downstream applications using SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake).
- Run queries in DBeaver, SQL Developer, and SSMS to compare results and troubleshoot issues.
- Create and update test cases in Jira and log defects with clear documentation.
- Review data mappings, job logs, and verify that ETL runs completed correctly.
- Work with developers, BAs, and SMEs to clarify requirements and confirm expected outcomes.
- Use WinSCP for file management and version control.
Skill Set:
- Strong SQL skills for data validation.
- Experience with ETL testing in Glue, Informatica, or similar tools.
- Comfortable using Jira.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reading mapping documents.
