Job Description
The Soldering Technician The position supports day to day through hole processes, including Selective Soldering, Press Fit machines, and dispensing robots.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for day‑to‑day operation of thru‑hole equipment.
- Ensure thru‑hole equipment operates at the required quality level.
- Monitor KPIs and provide daily reports on Back‑End process performance.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on thru‑hole equipment.
- Ensure all safety systems on through equipment are operating correctly.
- Develop and validate selective soldering programs.
- Develop and validate Press‑Fit programs.
- Develop and validate soldering thermal profiles.
Qualifications
- 5 years or more experience on the SMT process.
- Technical degree in Electronics or a related field (required). An Engineering degree is desirable.
