What you’ll do
- Provide high-quality legal advice and interpretation, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities across legislative and regulatory matters.
- Support policy development and legislative processes, contributing legal insights and helping translate policy into effective legislation.
- Deliver corporate and commercial legal work, including drafting and advising on contracts, procurement processes, and commercial arrangements.
- Contribute to litigation and public law matters, working with external counsel and supporting civil and criminal proceedings involving the Ministry.
- Build strong relationships and lead work delivery, collaborating across teams and stakeholders to deliver timely legal outcomes.
