**As needed- Mon-Fri 8:00a-4:30p**
**General Summary**
Performs a variety of routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures at a general skill level.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Performs obstetrical ultrasound in all trimesters including first trimester screening, level II fetal anatomic survey, growth evaluations, biophysical profiles and assists with interventional procedures including amniocentesis. Fetal echocardiography experience preferred but not required.
+ Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
+ Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure.
+ Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
+ Selects and operates equipment as needed to perform required exams.
+ Maintains equipment in efficient operating order; performs preventative maintenance on a regularly scheduled basis; contacts outside service for major malfunctions.
