Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general ultrasound studies, including abdominal ultrasounds, small parts, and obstetrics & gynecology imaging.
- Perform vascular and Doppler studies, specifically peripheral arterial and venous assessments, as well as carotid ultrasounds.
- Ensure all images produced are of diagnostic quality for accurate radiological reporting, while upholding patient welfare and clinical responsibility.
- Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of imaging equipment, including executing weekly and monthly quality assurance tests and maintaining service records.
- Manage inventory and the ordering schedule for consumables related to imaging.
- Maintain records of the number of radiographic examinations performed.
- Support the Medical Director and Radiologist in research work for publication in medical journals.
