Job Description
**THIS POSITION IS ONBOARD**
The Sound Technician (SOUN) is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of all sound systems in the various entertainment venues for a variety of produced entertainment, events and activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to Stage Production Manager(s) and follows daily/weekly schedules set by the Head Sound & Light Technician.
- Oversees safe operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of all shipboard sound systems.
- Supports setup and breakdown of sound equipment for shows, events, and guest activities across venues.
- Collaborates with performers and guests to plan sound requirements and update show files.
- Maintains original technical and artistic integrity of productions; changes require formal approval.
