Job Description

Sous Chef for a 250 seat restaurant in the Bahamas.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the preparation and design of all food menus
  • Produce high-quality dishes in collaboration with the rest of the kitchen team
  • Monitor food and labor costs
  • Manage and train kitchen staff
  • Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during busy hours
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
  • Monitor the quality of food products used for cooking
  • Implement innovative recipes and presentation techniques
  • Assist in the preparation of meals as required

Qualifications

  • 90% English
  • 3 years experience as Sous Chef or Executive Chef
  • Willing to relocate to the Bahamas
