Job Description
We’re hiring a passionate Sous Chef to support a high-volume, upscale casual dining spot in the Northwood area. This is a leadership role focused heavily on training, developing, and leading a back of house team - ideal for someone who enjoys building people just as much as executing on the line.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Personally, and alongside kitchen staff, facilitate all food preparation, presentation, and service procedures as directed by the Food & Beverage Director.
- Lead, coach, and develop BOH staff (line cooks, kitchen helpers, etc.)
- Manage daily kitchen operations including scheduling, staffing, and delegation
- Monitor employee performance, instruct employees in the proper performance of job duties and administer disciplinary action
