About the Sous Chef Position
Our nursing home is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sous Chef to join our kitchen staff! As a Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include preparing delicious dishes in a timely manner, monitoring inventory and equipment, and maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness.
The right candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ease and have excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques including preparing textured modified meals for nursing home residents.
Sous Chef Responsibilities
+ Prepare, cook, and assemble ingredients for various dishes, including soups main courses, and desserts under the direction of the Head Chef
+ Ensure that all dishes are of high-quality and follow company recipes
+ Report any equipment issues to management
+ Monitor inventory, ordering new food and supplies as necessary
+ Resolve issues with customers' orders as needed
