About The Role Iron Ore Sales & Marketing, part of RT Commercial, is responsible for the distribution and placement of more than 330 million tonnes per annum of Rio Tinto iron ore. In 2024, Iron Ore delivered >$30b in revenue for RT, and this is expected to rise as our new mine in Guinea (Simandou) comes online.
