Band 6 Specialist Clinical Technologist (Clinical Engineering)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Engineering team for a Clinical Technologist in the care of medical equipment in the Critical Care areas of the Trust.
The post is based in Clinical Engineering, where there are over twenty technologists providing a maintenance and repair service for approximately 16000 medical devices across 6 sites – Royal Berkshire Hospital, Prince Charles Eye Unit (Windsor), Windsor Dialysis Unit, Bracknell Health Space, Townlands Hospital (Henley-on-Thames) and West Berks Community Hospital (Thatcham).
Main duties of the job
This post holder will have specialist responsibility for critical care equipment, and will also involve providing guidance and supervision, including elements of training, to other technologists to enable them to provide back-up support.
