Job Description
Position Purpose
The HTA Specialist conducts evaluations of new and existing health technologies to support evidence‑based coverage decisions and clinical policy development. The role assesses clinical effectiveness, safety, cost‑effectiveness, and budget impact, contributing to sustainable benefit design and robust policy decisions. The Specialist also supports the broader HTA team with research, evidence synthesis, and technical analysis.
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–2 years in HTA, evidence synthesis, research, health economics, managed care, or related fields.
- Experience evaluating medicines, devices, and clinical interventions.
- Familiarity with HTA frameworks
Advantageous Requirements
- Exposure to health technology assessments (HTAs) or evidence‑based policy development
- Experience in medical schemes, health insurers, or health policy environments is advantageous.
