Job Description
The Specialist Neonatologist will be responsible for attending patients in the age group from birth to the 28th day of life or more if necessary including cases of all degrees of complexity, according to approved standards of medical practice. Work is performed to meet established medical, ethical and statutory regulations.
HOD-Neonatology is regularly briefed about the unusual problems encountered and the action taken.
Clinical activities:
- Performs professional duties of a neonatologist.
- Responsible for assessment and reassessment of patients
- Conducts daily rounds to patients in the hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the Nursery; performs general or special examinations and other procedures covering the full scope of the field of neonatology.
