Reporting to the Purchasing and Procurement Manager, the Procurement Planning Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining procurement plans and ensuring that material availability aligns with project deliverables and project build plans. This includes coordination with Engineering, Program Management, QA and Planning to ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and aligned with company targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Procurement Planning and Scheduling
- Develop and maintain procurement plans aligned to production builds, project schedules, and program milestones.
- Translate demand forecasts, BOMs, and project requirements into actionable purchasing plans.
- Ensure procurement timelines are synchronized with internal build schedules and supplier lead times.
