Job Description
Reporting to the Purchasing and Procurement Manager, the Procurement Planning Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining procurement plans and ensuring material availability aligns with project deliverables and build plans. This includes coordination with Engineering, Program Management, QA and Planning to ensure all project deliverables are met on time and aligned with company targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain procurement plans aligned to production builds, project schedules, and program milestones.
- Translate demand forecasts, BOMs, and project requirements into actionable purchasing plans.
- Ensure procurement timelines are synchronized with internal build schedules and supplier lead times.
- Identify potential material shortages, long lead risks, and capacity constraints; proactively develop mitigation plans.
