Job Description
As a Specialist Public Health Manager, you will shape and drive one of the council's public health programme areas, leading action to tackle health inequalities and improve outcomes for local communities. You will take strategic ownership of commissioning, service delivery and programmes, working in partnership to create lasting impact.
As a member of the Public Health Leadership team, you will strengthen the division's ways of working while leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, effective services. Through influencing council policy and advising senior leaders and members, you will support outcome-focused decision-making and ensure resources are used effectively across the system.
