Job Description
A specialist independent SEN school, part of a leading education trust, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.
The provision supports children and young people with SEMH, Autism, ADHD and communication needs through a highly personalised and therapeutic approach. Staff work within well-resourced classrooms and alongside experienced clinical teams to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally
- Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons
- Managing challenging behaviour positively and consistently
- Supporting sensory and emotional regulation strategies
- Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
