Speech and Language Graduate – Stretford

Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? Do you have experience supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties?


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Graduate to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) within our primary school from September 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to help pupils develop their communication skills and access learning opportunities.


About the Role:

  • Support pupils to develop communication skills through individual and group interventions.

  • Implement speech and language programmes and targets as directed by the Speech and Language Therapist.

  • Use a range of communication approaches, including Makaton, PECS, AAC devices...
