Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments of clients muscular conditions, injuries, and medical history to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer sports massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, stretching, and trigger point therapy to address muscle tension, soreness, and injuries.
- Educate clients on the benefits of sports massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance recovery and prevent injuries.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of clients progress, treatment plans, and sessions.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, including client confidentiality and informed consent.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Proven experience as a Sports Massage Therapist or in a similar roles will be an advantage.
