Job Description: Spray Painter

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting.
• Mix paints to match required colours and finishes.
• Apply primers, fillers, and topcoats using spray guns or manual methods.
• Perform touch-ups, blending, and polishing for smooth finishes.
• Apply protective coatings (anti-corrosion, sound-deadening, varnish, enamel, epoxy).
• Operate spray paint equipment (cup guns, pressure pots, airless pumps).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and spray booths.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong colour vision and ability to distinguish shades.
• Good hand-eye coordination and accuracy in spraying.
• Knowledge of paint mixing formulas and application techniques.
• Ability to work with industrial coatings and automotive finishes.
