Job Description:

  • Strong experience administering and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server in production (versions relevant to your environment).
  • Deep T-SQL expertise, stored procedure and function development, and experience building transformation logic at scale.
  • Practical experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling (normalized and dimensional models), schema design, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with query tuning, indexing strategies, partitioning, and columnstore/index types.
  • Familiarity with high-availability, disaster recovery, and security features of SQL Server.
